59th Cantada d’Havaneres of Calella de Palafrugell

Statement from the Organisers of the Calella de Palafrugell Habaneras Cantada

Following the instructions issued by Civil Protection and the emergency services, the organisers have decided to cancel the 59th Habaneras Cantada scheduled for this evening in Calella de Palafrugell.

As stated in previous communications, the event was at all times subject to the development of the wildfire and to the instructions of the emergency services.

The organisers will contact all ticket holders to inform them of the refund procedure.

The public is urged to exercise the utmost caution and to follow at all times the instructions issued by Civil Protection, the Local Police, the Mossos d’Esquadra, the Fire Brigade and the other emergency services.

Els Amics de les Arts will perform on the most iconic stage on the Costa Brava: the Calella de Palafrugell Habanera stage, where they will close the ÍTACA 2026 festival.
